Position Brief:

With technical guidance from the Manager, Technical Applications and the Director of Clinical

Applications, the IT Support Technician functions as a technician performing installation and support of printers, computers (PC’s), peripheral equipment, end user network connectivity, mobile and desktop- based applications, and VOIP telecommunications systems. This position is responsible for providing support for organizational computer software and performing repairs to hardware. Assist with and performs training for end users on software and hardware.

An IT Support Technician provides Tier 1 phone support and ticket resolution, new PC setup, respond to end-users’ requests and provides on call support.

Essential Duties and Responsivities:

• Provides technical support to end users of business and clinical applications
• Assists with designing and implementing database reports and other management tools to assist in the efficient and effective operation of programs, including but not limited to, outcome standards, performance standards and productivity
• Assists with support of the organization’s PCs, printers, servers, VOIP, and related equipment
• Creates new user accounts via Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft365
• Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma/ GED with vocational/ technical school diploma in Information Technology or related fields (i.e. Computer Science)
• Associate of Applied Science degree or higher in Information Technology or related fields (i.e. Computer Science) preferred
• Degree or CompTIA, Cisco, or MS certifications, or combination of training and experience preferred
